4 Wheel to Heal set up a booth at the 2012 Boulder Bash in Berryville, Va., on April Fools Day. There was a rock racing course, a truck pulling contest, an RC Car course, and even a lawn mower race course! Straight up redneck, just the kind of thing we’re use to. I think the pictures will speak for themselves… it was a good time.
4W2H introduced new paracord bracelets that one of our co-founders, Nathan Ramos, makes himself! When someone buys one, they have the option of buying one for a wounded vet too. We had a number of people show thier thanks to wounded veterans this way. We even have them write a note to the veteran that we deliver with the bracelet personally.
It wasn’t all business though. One of the wounded Marines who came out with us, John Patterson, is an amputee… not that that stopped him from doing some rock crawling in the “Mauler!” We were glad we could bring him out and show him a good time. Hey, that’s our mission after all.
This won’t be the last time Boulder Bash see’s 4 Wheel to Heal. We’ll be back!
