Resolutions; a firm decision to do or not to do something. The act of solving something. How many resolutions did you honestly have in 2016, how many do you plan to have in 2017? Did you accomplish them, did you mitigate them, did you ignore them? We all have been down this path but it doesn’t end as every year comes with a new beginning. For some…
For others it is continued suffering, pain, or remembrance. Those are the men and women we are all resolute for as in; admirably purposeful, determined, and unwavering. Unwavering dedication for over 5 years. I feel we certainly have been resolute in most areas, however we can do better.

We have let down some of our supporters by not immediately contacting or answering questions. We have discussed it in the past but I still explaining it. All of our staff (Board of Directors) are volunteers, that earn no salary or benefits. This is a 5 year running program and we have continued to remain salary free. Some of us run businesses, are active duty, police officers, paramedics, firemen, and some of us like myself and JP watch the skies over our Nation’s Capitol in uniform during these holidays. All of us want to do better in relation to our supporters, but please know we are doing our absolute best. Additionally, remember we never fail our warrior guests, and THAT is our mission.

My resolution is for us to do better, to serve our best, and continue our great mission. To all that have given, God bless you as we could not have done it without you and we are still here 5 years later.  Continue to take this Journey with us…
