4 Wheel to Heal participated in it’s first West Coast event!  This weekend long 4 wheeling Dessert Safari was the perfect opportunity for our Co-Founder and Treasurer Mark Schultz and Executive Director of West Coast Operations Jen Schultz to see what type of people make up the left side of the country.  Man were they plesantly suprised.  In just 2 days, they raised almost $3,000!  Their booth set up was made possible by a donation from Falken Tires to the Tierra Del Sol 4 Wheel club.  During the event, Mark and Jen were able to raise $245 in a Surprise Straps grab handle raffle!  All that money will go directly to taking warriors offroading.  They weren’t just selling t-shirts and raffle tickets either.  They were taking down names of folks who were interested in volunteering with the organization, who wanted get 4W2H involved with other events and even a few potential warriors to take on future trips.  Ocotillo Wells is a far cry from the forest runs of Big Dog Offroads in Gore, Va., but there’s something about that place that’s just plain fun!

4 Wheel to Heal wants to give a big shout out and thank you to Falken Tire who helped make this event as big as it was, and to Surprise Straps for donating bracelets and a set of grab handles!  Thank you for your support!
