This charity event is being held in order to raise money for 4 Wheel to Heal (4W2H) to support their current endeavors. 4W2H is dedicated to taking wounded veterans, from all branches of service, to off-roading events. These events involve four wheeling, rock crawling, mud bogging and camping. Their mission is to boost morale for these veterans and give them an experience they will never forget.
Built To Heal was created by Seven Slot Society with the expectation that a few friends would show up and help raise a little bit of money. During that first year, S7S had less than 40 participants and ended up donating around $400. The event in 2014 saw a sharp increase in attendance and a donation of around $4,000. The 2015 registration numbers yielded 400 participants and they were able to raise $6,000. The 4th event, in 2016, brought in just under 400 participants and a donation of $6,800. The event in 2018 was a banner year and they were able to donate just shy of $10,000. In addition to that, they were able to organize another $11,000 in donations from vendors and sponsors before the event even began! Built to Heal 2020 raised approximately $5,000.
The event consists of a full day of wheeling with a group at Rausch Creek. 2021 has something new for Built to Heal! The Morning Rush food truck will be there all day to conquer your hunger obstacles! 4w2h is looking forward to this new option! Once everyone has had a chance to eat, we begin the raffle.
